How to create AIX packages

Pre-requisites

1. Install package bos.adt.insttools

2. Check:

   • /usr/lpp/bos/README.MKINSTALLP
   • /usr/sbin/mkinstallp
   • /usr/sbin/makebff.pl

View a BFF file

# /export/nim/packaging/cfg2html/tmp > restore -qvTf ./cfg2html_aix.2.8.1.0.bff

New volume on ./cfg2html_aix.2.8.1.0.bff:
 Cluster 51200 bytes (100 blocks).

From a local directory:
